  IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DELACEY FAMILIES

Please read the important information below from a District 300 news release dated Thursday, March 4, 2010.

The District 300 School Board will vote Monday, March 8th to release 6 preschool teachers.  The board will vote Monday, April 26th on whether to cut preschool transportation (except for special education students).  It is unknown whether this busing cut would result in fewer children enrolling in D300 preschool programs.  Once enrollment figures are known this summer, some of these 6 preschool teachers may return to their positions or be reassigned in other areas.

Please attend

We offer a balanced early childhood program for Children Aged 3 to 5 years old.  Our program fosters the development of early literacy skills in children which will help them to become more successful readers. The program consists of classroom activities that introduce children to written words in their environment, emerging letter recognition and phonemic awareness, the letter/sound relationship. In addition we provide the children with high interest activities such as science, art and dramatic play, in the classroom.
