There are three preschool programs offered at deLacey: Tuition Program, Preschool For All (PFA) and Special Education.  We also provide therapy support services to qualifying students.

Tuition Program

This program is for children who might not qualify for the PFA program or Special Education Programs. The tuition program follows the same schedule as the other two programs. Transportation is not provided. If you would like more information please see the informational flyer.

Preschool For All (PFA)

Taken from the program specifications of the Early Childhood Block Grant-Pre-K At-Risk Initiative:

"The pre-kindergarten at-risk initiative, also known as (PFA program) serves children who, because of their home and community environment, are subject to such language, economic and like disadvantages that they have been determined, through a screening process, to be at risk of academic failure."

Children are selected for our program through a screening process. We use a standardized screening instrument that measures each child's development, English proficiency, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and cognitive development.  Other factors such as family systems, and health risk factors may also be considered. The criteria used to determine elibilty for the at-risk (Preschool For All) program is the child's performance on the screening instrument.

Special Education Program

Special Education programs are also available for students with more significant delays.  These programs provide more individualized instruction based on the students' needs.
